Last updated: 26 July 2026

This page is maintained by PayBills Pty Ltd ("PayBills", "we", "our", "us") to describe how we collect, use and protect personal information in connection with the PayBills website and our automated invoice reminder and payment collection service. PayBills is an Australian company and this policy is written with the Australian Privacy Principles in mind.

1. What we collect

When you interact with our website we may collect:

  • Contact details you submit through our demo request form (first name, business name, email, phone, business type).
  • Basic technical information from your browser (IP address, device type, pages visited) generated by strictly-necessary cookies.
  • Any additional information you choose to send us by email.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or third-party marketing cookies on this website.

2. How we use it

  • To respond to your demo request and follow up about the PayBills product.
  • To operate and secure the website.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. How we store it

Demo submissions are stored in a secure cloud database operated by our backend provider. Access is limited to authorised PayBills personnel. We use industry-standard controls to protect information in transit (TLS) and at rest.

4. How long we keep it

We keep demo request data only for as long as needed to follow up with you and maintain records of our business interactions. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

5. Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the website and product (for example, our hosting and database provider), and where required by law. These providers are bound to handle information consistently with this policy.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. You can also complain if you believe we have handled your information incorrectly. Contact us at complaints@paybills.com.au. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and will work with you to resolve any concern.

7. Cookies

We only use strictly-necessary cookies for site functionality (for example, remembering that you have dismissed the cookie notice). We do not currently use analytics, advertising or social-media cookies. If we add any in future, we will update this page and the on-site cookie notice before turning them on.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change.
